Our Review of 'From Sirius to Earth' by Evelyn Fuqua Ph. D.
To start with I must admit that I know nothing of the author of 'From Sirius to Earth', namely Evelyn Fuqua, or whether publishing this book either enhanced or damaged her reputation.
There is no doubt from reading the sleeve notes to this book that she is a highly skilled and qualified individual with a great deal of experience in this field however I doubt that this publication gained her much kudos within her world of hypnotic regression.
In any circles the subject of extraterrestrials, channeling and soul exchange evokes passionate argument. The question of whether Rose, the subject of 'From Sirius to Earth' is indeed a seeding from the Dog Star - or simply delusional provokes this debate even further.
As for the books content - well, it starts off interestingly enough with perhaps the most valuable contribution to the Sirian/Cosmic Guardians question in its early pages. Rose, sorry I mean 'Athors'; for the supposed soul exchange had taken place at this point, description of the Twelve Elders of the Sirian Council of Elders is engaging.
However the book then moves away from the central core of the material and concentrates instead upon Rose's troubled background, spiritual 'enlightenment' and subsequent soul exchange. From a psychologists point of view this might be important but to be honest how many psychologists would grasp the concept of soul exchange in the first instance.
In the final section of 'From Sirius to earth' the reader is allowed access to the actual regression transcripts that took place through 1989. These are not easy to digest and unfortunately they contain just too strong a hint that the counselor was prompting the client throughout the hypnotic session to really give them any real credibility.
By the end of 'From Sirius to Earth' I was left really wondering why the book had been written at all - or rather, to whom was it actually aimed. If it was it to add something to the field of hypnotic regression then I guess it failed, and from the point of view of metaphysics then it also opens up some problematic considerations. However, it is a worth-while read if you are looking for some sort of insight into the strange world of Sirian influences.
I understand that there is a follow-up publication to 'From Sirius to earth' in the works and in addition to the material on the Star Council of Sirius on Dr Fuquas website this book may yet reveal some interesting strands of spiritual insight and investigation.

Addendum
It is worth noting that the following statement appears on Dr Fuquas' website and I feel is worth repeating here.
" My sincere apologies to my readers! On page 1 of "From Sirius to Earth" it states that the Council of Sirius gathers to determine WHO should be created and when. This is incorrect, apparently an error due to the transcription of the taped session with Athor. It should state that the Council meets to determine WHAT should be created and when. The Council created the matrix (blueprint) for the Earth, but it does not create souls. I cannot understand why Athor and I did not note this BIG error in our numerous proofreadings of the book. Interestingly no one has ever questioned this statement except a person who called in when I was doing a radio talk show. I was really puzzled by her question so decided to do some research and finally found the original notes of the session when Athor first described the Council. I was shocked to find that we had made such a BIG Error. So sorry for the goof!!
