Darryl Anka

Darryl Anka started his Hollywood career as a visual and special effects artist. He worked on Star Trek: The Motion Picture, I Robot, Pirates of the Caribbean, Die Hard 4 and Iron Man.

He is also an internationally known channeller, speaker and author with sales of over 300,000 books in Japan. He claims that he began to communicate, through trance-channeling, with an extra-terrestrial entity called Bashar in 1983.

Bashar is described as existing within a parallel reality and a time frame that we perceive as the future.

Channeling and Writing Career

The monologues and dialogues that Darryl Anka has, with Bashar, covered a wide range of topics including human psychology, planetary evolution, metaphysics and extra-terrestrials. Anka appeared in the 2008 documentary 'Tuning In' alongside other notable channels such as Lee Carroll. In addition Anka is also to be found as guest speaker at conferences related to issues such as ET contact.

In addition to Bashar Darryl Anka has also channeled other entities as indeed has the cosmic entity Bashar been channeled by other mediums.

Anka's channeling sessions, private and public, are usually recorded and many have been compiled into various books and audio-visual material. His first book, The New Metaphysics, includes Q&A sessions with Margot Chandler, Ph.D., and was edited by Rosemarie Hopf-Weichel, Ph.D.

Contact and Early Beginnings

Darryl Ankas spiritual journey began in 1973 when, on two occasions within the same week in 1973, he experienced close-range, broad-daylight sightings of UFOs in the company of other witnesses. 

At each sighting they saw a dark metallic, triangular craft which was about 30 feet on each side. There were three blue-white lights, one on each "point", and one orange-red light in the center. The craft in the first sighting was about 150 feet away; in the second sighting, only about 60 feet away.

This experience left Anka curious to find out all that he could on the UFO phenomena and so he began reading everything he could find including books on different "paranormal" related subjects, such as psychic powers, spirits and channeling.

Ten years after the UFO sightings, Darryl Anka was introduced to a practicing channel and following several months of listening to the information delivered by the spirit entity being channeled through the person, he was amazed by the consistency and quality of the information on a variety of subjects.

That same entity offered to teach channeling to whoever wished to learn and so he joined the channeling class - not with the intention of becoming a channel himself, but rather to learn more about the process by which this entity seemed capable of accessing volumes of information on endless subjects.

Midway through the course he received what sounded like a telepathic message in his mind and as a consequence he became instantly aware of three things. These were that the message was from an extraterrestrial consciousness that he came to call "Bashar" (the UFO he had seen ten years earlier was in fact his ship), a memory came back to him that he had made an agreement at some point prior to this life to channel Bashar, and that now was the time to fulfill this agreement if Anka still felt like doing so.

Anka took up the challenge and has been channeling publicly since that time in 1983 and "Bashar" has spoken on a wide variety of subjects to thousands of people in more than 15 cities throughout the United States, as well as in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, England, Egypt and Greece.
